Bon Breads was created in 1999 by master baker Carlos Pereira to provide the finest restaurants with the best artisan breads in town. Armed with a very old “starter” (combination of flour water and wild yeast that gives the bread its unique flavor, crust and texture) given to Carlos by his master, he started a one man operation that quickly grew big. Today, Bon Breads boasts an unsurpassed client list comprising of the city’s most exceptional chefs, restaurants and hotels and has without a doubt cemented its position as the most well regarded artisanal bread bakery in Las Vegas.
The secret behind Bon Breads success is very simple. Bon Breads prides itself of strictly following traditional methods of baking. Each of our products has not only the freshest and finest ingredients but the time and attention they need to become the finest artisanal breads in town. Our products are made strictly from scratch 7 days a week, using unbleached flours. We do not add preservatives or artificial colorants in our breads.
After 10 years in the wholesale business, Carlos decided it was time to share our passion and love for bread with our community. We started selling breads at the farmer markets in town and quickly, the foodies of Las Vegas made us part of their tables.
